What once seemed like science fiction is now becoming reality on massive construction sites across the globe. THE LINE – Saudi Arabia

One of the most revolutionary projects in the world, The Line is a linear city stretching 170 kilometers, designed to accommodate up to 9 million residents. The concept eliminates the need for cars and traditional roads, relying instead on ultra-fast public transportation and pedestrian mobility.

The city will be built within two giant mirrored structures, minimizing its footprint on the land while preserving the surrounding natural ecosystems. The project is part of the broader NEOM initiative and aims to create an entirely new model of urban living.

OXAGON – Saudi Arabia

Another major component of the NEOM project, Oxagon will become the largest floating industrial city in the world. Covering approximately 250 square kilometers and featuring an octagonal design, it is planned to operate entirely on renewable energy.

Oxagon aims to transform logistics, manufacturing, and global transportation by integrating automation, robotics, and green economy technologies. The city is expected to serve as a future industrial hub with minimal carbon emissions.

New Administrative Capital – Egypt

Egypt is constructing a new smart capital east of Cairo, with an estimated investment exceeding $58 billion. The project covers around 700 square kilometers and is intended to ease the urban congestion of Cairo, one of the most densely populated metropolitan areas in the world.

The new city will include government institutions, residential districts, business centers, universities, and advanced digital infrastructure, creating a new engine for economic development.

Forest City – Malaysia

Conceived as a coastal development valued at approximately $100 billion, Forest City consists of four artificial islands built near the coast of Malaysia.

The project combines smart technology with extensive green spaces, energy-efficient buildings, and sustainable transportation systems. Its goal is to create an urban community where nature and technology coexist in harmony.

Telosa – United States

Telosa is an ambitious project for a new sustainable city designed to accommodate up to 5 million residents across approximately 150,000 acres.

The vision for Telosa includes clean energy, intelligent urban planning, affordable housing, and innovative economic models aimed at reducing social inequality. Although still in the planning stages, the project has attracted global attention as a pioneering urban experiment.

Trojena – Saudi Arabia

In the heart of the Saudi desert, one of the world’s most unusual projects is taking shape: Trojena, a mountain destination that will offer year-round skiing.

Thanks to modern technologies and the region’s unique mountain microclimate, Trojena aims to combine tourism, winter sports, and luxury in an area where such a concept would have seemed impossible only a few years ago. The project has also been selected to host future international sporting events.

Smart Forest City Cancun – Mexico

Designed as a circular city for approximately 130,000 residents, Smart Forest City Cancun places nature at the center of urban development.

Millions of plants and trees will be integrated into the city’s infrastructure, while autonomous transportation and intelligent energy management systems will minimize environmental impact. The city aims to absorb more carbon than it produces, becoming a model for ecological urbanization.

Oceanix Busan – South Korea

As climate change and rising sea levels present new challenges for coastal cities, Oceanix Busan offers a radical solution.

This project is considered the world’s first prototype floating city, designed to withstand extreme storms and rising ocean levels. Its modular floating platforms will enable the city to expand gradually according to population needs.
